After months of intense competition, heart-to-heart encounters and drama, Shreya Kalra, the social media influencer, has been named the winner of India’s Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2. The grand finale saw Shreya take a victory over television actress Shivangi Joshi in a neck-in-neck duel and win the coveted trophy and cash prize of ₹1 Crore. The second season of the reality show airs on Netflix and was hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh; the show was set in a prison environment where the celebrity contestants were given challenging tasks, strategic challenges, and emotional ones to complete. Its dramatic cast of characters, shifting alliances, and unpredictable turns made it a season that garnered significant attention.
Shreya Kalra was an early contender from the beginning. At times she found herself being criticised, faced difficult tasks, and even isolated from the rest of the competition, she always showed determination and composure. She was able to come back from failures and stay on track, which won her the support of the other contestants, as well as audience members. Shreya played a significant role during the season, shifting alliances and performing well on key tasks. Her strategic and resilient mindset, skillfully navigating through multiple challenging situations, secured her victory in the finale.
The remaining contestants went head to head in the final, with all of them trying to win the title. Shreya Kalra emerged as the winner as the votes were tallied while Shivangi Joshi was the first runner-up. The win put an end to one of the show’s most competitive seasons.
In addition to the trophy, Shreya got a grand prize of ₹1 crore, marking a new milestone in her illustrious career as a digital creator and television personality. After the show, host Farah Khan hosted a celebratory event for the contestants as well as the production team. From the event, videos and photos revealed moments of warmth between the two — Shreya Kalra and Shivangi Joshi — that showcased the camaraderie that took place inside the show against so much competition.
