The One Piece series Season 2 picks up right where the crew left off, following Luffy and his friends as they finally enter the Grand Line, which is a stretch of ocean famous for its wild weather and even wilder enemies. Their journey starts with a narrow escape from the Marines at Loguetown, before they literally climb a mountain to enter the new sea. Along the way, they meet a mysterious princess named Vivi and realize they’ve stumbled into a massive conspiracy involving a secret criminal organization called Baroque Works and led by the dangerous warlord Sir Crocodile.

When the Straw Hats sail from one strange island to the next by visiting a land of giants and a prehistoric jungle, the stakes get much more personal. The heart of the story shifts when they go to Drum Island, which is a snowy kingdom where the crew desperately searches for a doctor to save a sick Nami. In that moment, they meet Tony Tony Chopper who is a brave little reindeer with a big heart who eventually joins their family.
