Actress Sharvari Wagh and actor Sunny Kaushal have reportedly ended their relationship after several years together. The two never made their romance official, but fans had spotted them together enough times to know something was going on. The breakup news came out around mid-2025, and since then, bits and pieces of the story have surfaced.
Sharvari and Sunny first met on the sets of The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye, an Amazon Prime series from 2020. That show was Sharvari’s acting debut. The two seemed close from the start, and over the years, they were seen hanging out at parties and events. Still, both stayed tight-lipped whenever the media asked about their relationship.
The first sign of trouble showed up when Sunny went on Raunaq Rajani’s show Relationshit Advice in August 2024. When someone asked if he was dating Sharvari, he flat out said, “I am single,” and called her just a “very good friend.” That surprised a lot of people, but some thought he was just dodging the question. Turns out, he might have been telling the truth.
By mid-2025, reports confirmed the split. According to sources, the main issue was Sunny’s unwillingness to commit. When family members asked him about his future with Sharvari, he never gave a straight answer. Even Katrina Kaif, who is married to Sunny’s brother Vicky Kaushal and reportedly liked Sharvari, allegedly hinted that things weren’t going anywhere.
Career differences also seem to have played a part. Sharvari’s graph has shot up after Munjya (2024). She landed Alpha with Alia Bhatt and Imtiaz Ali’s Main Wapas Aaunga. She has been busy with big banners and brand events. Sunny, meanwhile, has mostly stuck to OTT projects and hasn’t had the same kind of momentum.
There was also an incident where Sunny reportedly made a sarcastic remark about Sharvari’s PR team while she was out with friends. That apparently did not go down well. Sharvari handled it quietly — no social media drama, no public statements. She just stepped back.
Fans picked up on the change. In earlier years, Sunny, Vicky, and Katrina had all wished Sharvari on her birthday. In 2025, none of them did. Sunny’s father, Sham Kaushal, also unfollowed her on Instagram. Small things, but they told the whole story.
Right now, both are focused on work. Sharvari has Alpha and Main Wapas Aaunga coming up. Sunny was last seen in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Neither has spoken about the breakup publicly, and it looks like they plan to keep it that way.
